An Uber driver, whose vehicle suffered damage in the collision, decided to chase the Prado after he heard screams of help from the Prado . Despite warning shots fired by the Prado occupants, the determined Uber driver persisted in pursuit.
Witnesses also reported hearing cries for help from within the Prado. The vehicle in question eventually lost control, colliding with the superhighway metal rails near Kahawa Wendani.
